Tillandsia cacticola $15.00
Much sought by hobbyists, cacticola is a prize in any collection. A soft rosette of half inch wide gray leaves, produces a spectacular inflorescence of lavender branches with purple-edged white to yellow flowers. Native to the Tropical Thorn Forest of northern Peru where it frequently grows on cacti, hence the name. Keep on the dry side, bright and airy. The Latin name of this Tillandsia species, cacticola, translates as "cactus dweller."
